I think I’m ready for visitors…

Oh my goodness, this setting up a self-hosted site has been a tearful challenge for an old lady! I did all of it I could – but I have to disclose, without the expertise of my guru daughter who accomplished 99% of it trying to teach me, I’d still be sitting in my chair crying in my coffee – or my laptop might be lying in the pasture!

Anyway, thanks to my daughter (no, you cannot adopt her), I can relax now and catch up on all things with my favorite blogging buds, and continue writing my book! Suddenly, the sunshine just came out and all is well with the world once again!

Oh my, just as well you commented on my blog, when I clicked onto your name I noticed you had done some more posts. so I wondered why they didn’t show up in the RSS feed, so I clicked onto it and the feed said this no longer existed. So I deleted that one out, and put it in again for your new blog, hopefully now it will be OK. :)

    Ah, ha! Here you are!

I left a comment earlier this evening, but I understand now that it was on your old site. I’ve got the link changed now, so I’ll be showing up here, with bells on.

Sure do like the background photo! I’ll poke around and make myself at home tomorrow ;-)

  3. Your site looks lovely. I’m so glad that you had expert help. My “expert” is in France and manages sites for a living, which means that he hasn’t time to do the things that I want on mine, and, for security reasons, can’t give me his password to try it on my own, so I’m sticking with WordPress. Several decades ago, when I was first learning to use a computer, the teacher warned the class in the first lesson that it was forbidden to throw the computer out the window. I have always managed to stick to that rule. Sometimes with difficulty.
